Gravel and Sand garden

Three island beds use locally sourced sand as a planting medium. Stone and gravel paths and terraces are nestled within the planting, with some grasses and herbs encroaching into the gravel, blurring the boundary between beds and paths and creating a scented, immersive experience.

Self seeded border

Early Primulas, Daffodils, Tulips and Camassias give way to Foxgloves, Euphorbia, Alliums and Forget-me-nots by early June. Stipa, Deschampsia and Anementhale grasses are emerging between them. This border self seeds itself and requires minimal maintenance.

Shady courtyard garden

A project for a tiny shady courtyard garden with an Eastern influence as the client used to live in Japan. The garden is carefully designed to give interesting views from the two overlooking windows throughout the year.

Mediterranean garden

The Client wanted a garden that reminded them of their holidays in the South of France. The design recreates the “Garrigue”, the semi wild beautiful landscape of the Mediterranean.
